В розвиток класичної ідеї формування зачатків континентальної земної кори на ооїдно-кільцевому етапі розвитку планети, побудована схема кільцевих структур території України. В практичному плані розвиваються уявлення тектоноконцентрів О. Б. Гінтова, як структури стабільних ядер та мобільного кільцевого обрамлення. Привертається увага до зон перетину-накладання тектоноконцентрів, як особливих геодинамічних областей земної кори.
